Emily and Chris | Paris Travel Love Story
Last August, there was an email from Emily where she introduced herself and was hoping I would be able to do her engagement photos during their winter Paris trip. In her introduction, she mentioned she is a fan of our work and that she's one of our followers on Instagram. I got excited because I did recognise her IG handle. She is 1/3 of @whiteelephantdesigns, a family owned online home and gift shop... and I have to say, I absolutely love their account. It is always endearing as well as frightful when long time followers comes to us for photos. The feeling is also applicable when it's another photographer booking us for a session.
Their session day was the day after Christmas and it was a little colder than usual. Nevertheless, both Emily and her fiancé Chris endured the chill to get these dreamy photos we managed to capture.
We started our session at Trocadéro for the classic and romantic view of the Eiffel Tower. Thankfully, it was not as crowded as we expected and we managed to start the coldest part of the morning with some sun. But, in true Parisian spirit, the sun hid behind clouds as the morning wore on. After finishing their portraits by the Tower, we hopped on an Uber towards the Louvre. There is something special about a black dress by the Pyramid and the big gates of the old palace that takes my breath away.
