Tips for Choosing Your Paris Portraits Locations

The Louvre courtyard is the perfect ballroom for a slow dance in your couple’s Paris Portrait experience

You finally booked your Paris trip, you are planning every day to make the experience perfect and you are booking a photoshoot with me. After a few messages sharing your excitement for the portraits, it comes the time to select where to start your Photo Day. You want all of Paris in your photos. To help cut narrow down your dream locations, I will ask you to do a top 5 list of your favorite places in Paris you would like be for your photos - whether places on my location guide or some place you have seen online. They do not have to be ranked, it’s just a wishlist. I will then take that list and try to connect as many as we can fit into your chosen package. You will get these itineraries in our inbox and we will take it from there.

This approach has worked wonders over the years.

And just in case, here are a few examples of itineraries for the following list:

Eiffel Tower - Palais Royal - Louvre - Somewhere from Emily in Paris

2 hour session - we meet at Place Dauphine and Pont Neuf, then head towards a café for outfit change/photos. Followed by Palais Royal and we wrap up on the Louvre.
1.5 hour session - upper Trocadero and gardens, then a car ride to a café for outfit change. We will take photos at the café then go explore Palais Royal.
1 hour session - upper Trocadero, Passy, gardens, riverside and bridge in front of the Tower.

30 minutes - Eiffel Tower session - upper Trocadero, the fountain and the gardens.
